Today's events and resources were led by the Kapor Center and CSTA.

The Kapor Center’s Culturally Responsive-Sustaining Computer Science Education Framework

In June 2021, Kapor Center released the CRCS Framework, developed in partnership with a national collective of education advocates to create more pathways for Black, Latinx, Native American, and other marginalized students to computer science education, tech careers, and STEM-related fields. This work will continue to grow and take shape as the need for CS education becomes more prevalent in communities across the country and educators seek new opportunities to lead positive change.

CSEdWeek Kickoff Panel Discussion with CS Heroes

This event discusses this year's theme of #CSEverywhere, followed by a panel discussion moderated by Shiela Lee and Nate Myers.

Panelists include  Sofia Ongele, Josiah Hester, and Cynthia Yeung. This discussion will inspire you to show your students how computer science can be integrated with any of their passions and interests. Your students will walk away inspired to apply what they're learning in your CS classroom to solve our world's problems.
